To highlight April’s expanding network of unique creators, we’d like to introduce the first in a series of interviews with our influencer partners. So without further ado, please meet JAXXY!

As a Brooklyn-based artist, model, and influencer, Jax likes to have her fingers in many pots. With her focus being pulled in many different directions, it is incredibly important to Jax that her apartment remains a sacred space. Stepping into Jax’s apartment, I was totally immersed into her world. From sitting in the living room snacking on apples and peanut butter, to dancing on her rooftop and basking in the summer sun, I saw just how special this space was for Jax to unwind, uplift, and curate her content. Everything from the incense burning, the art pieces both handmade and from other artists that covered her walls, and the music delicately playing in the background revealed more of Jax’s layers and personality.

We asked Jaxxy how she makes her apartment an optimal environment for her headspace and artistic endeavors. Her answer?

Taking time to be alone so that she may find her frequency. For Jax, listening to her energy and vibrations is so important to reconnect with herself. Her bedroom and her apartment are where she works her typical 9 - 5 and films her personal content. To ensure she is creating a space that allows her to share her energy, feel inspired, and remain authentic, Jax relies on her daily movement, moments of contemplation, and time alone to fulfill and revive herself.

Jaxxy brings this contagious energy and authenticity to every project she takes on, both inside and outside of the home. As a creator who got her start by letting loose and dancing on TikTok as @jaxxyontheblock, Jax knows that staying true to herself is a top priority for herself and her followers.

Jax has had the pleasure of partnering with numerous brands she already uses and believes in, validating and reaffirming her desire to pursue brand partnerships and influencer marketing. When asked about what the future holds for Jax, she replied with a glimmer in her eye, “When you have an idea it doesn’t just happen, you’ve got to put some action towards it.”

Expanding her virtual network within the creative community makes it easier for Jax to explore her passion projects and focus on what brings her the most joy. Whether it be jumping on her trampoline in her paint clad overalls, or experimenting with new t-shirt ideas for her friends and family, Jax is always exercising her creative muscles with unique style and a beaming smile.
